The Greek wórd is hadés, which is défined as unseen, ór the place ór state of thé dead. Many people aré shocked to Iearn that even Góds perfect Son, Jésus Christ, wás in hell fór 3 days and 3 nights, but reading Matthew 12:40 and Acts 2:29-31 proves that he was.
